The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Zagreb is vested with the power to allocate funds for development activities in Croatia. The Embassy Fund is an integrated part of the overall Norwegian assistance to the Western Balkans aiming to support smaller interventions, projects and NGOs in Croatia. Applicants must follow the guidelines and priorities outlined in the Norwegian National Budget. (St.prp.1)
Current priorities set out by the Norwegian government in 2010 are activities that support democracy, human rights, peace and reconciliation, good governance and institution-building, safeguarding minority rights, refugee return, and anti-corruption.
