"Norway - Before and Now"

Last updated: 21/05/2010 // The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Croatia and the Croatian/Norwegian Association in Zagreb arranged on May 19 a Norwegian celebration in connection to the Norwegian National Day on May 17. The celebration was marked by a multimedia lecture held by H.E. Ambassador Terje Hauge and followed by a reception at the Journalist’s House/Novinarski Dom.

The Norwegian Embassy had together with the Croatian/Norwegian Association invited friends and colleagues to attend the lecture, but seats were also reserved for the general public.  

The mullti media lecture entitled “Norway – Before and Now” was introduced by the President of the Croatian/Norwegian Association Mr.Tomislav Zoričić.

The lecture held by the Norwegian Ambassador focused on Norwegian history, politics, economy, society and cultural life. It was an informative and well prepared lecture accompanied by pictures of Norwegian nature, architecture and well known people, such as the members of the Royal Family.

The lecture lasted for one hour and was followed by a question and answer session.

The Event was a celebration of the Norwegian National Day, but also an opportunity for people to meet up with others who are either related to Norway or who are especially interested and fascinated by the country.
